First of all this is not the "We're completely done! Yes!" post. That post is coming soon and will be entitled "*sounds of a parade...with elephants!*". We did however finish recording the last 6 instrument parts on the album, and have only one drum part to touch up, followed by a minor number of edits, before the mixing process can begin.
In other words we are close, as I've said in previous posts. But now, we've moved from the edge of the hallway to a place in sight of the door. Everyone involved has done such great work, and I think you'll all be in an ocean of awe and emotion (ugh what a terribly clichéd rhyme) when you hear the final record.
For those of you saying "Hmm, so what else, Jon?" and still reading, I would say that there is quite a bit more, but I can't talk about any of it until we're firmly in July. So that said, keep watching this space, and it would be great to see a whole lot of you wonderful people at our upcoming July shows. Take a look at the Shows page for more details.
